Our Story

In 1990, we set out to unlock health data to improve medical research and healthcare worldwide. We recognized the difficulties and time wasted accessing healthcare information and data stored through many different systems and formats and began exploring possible solutions.

In 1993, we established DesAcc to develop health data software that could solve these issues. In the following five years, we created, tested, and launched our first-ever product, Digital Jacket, with over 3,000 copies sold as of 2024.

In the last decade, significant achievements have included completing our first petabyte-scale project in 2018 and curating one of the largest privately held databases of genomics data during the COVID-19 pandemic.

After more than 30 years, our passion for unlocking medical information and data at speed and scale is unwavering. We love what we do — providing better access to quantitative data to help healthcare organizations and medical professionals make better decisions and improve outcomes.
